How do you pronounce Cézanne?/Do you have a nickname?/Your name is weird.

Cé rhymes with day and zanne rhymes with dawn. My nickname is Cici and my nickname’s nickname is Ceec. My mom calls me Céz (rhymes with says) and my boyfriend calls me Céz (rhymes with Lay’s, like the potato chip). At this point, I pretty much respond to anything. I know my name is weird, and it’s also really bad for meet-and-greets.

What is your ethnic background?

I’m 50% Asian, 50% white, and 100% ridiculous. When confronted with check boxes and categories, I gravitate towards “other.”

Why can’t I comment on your posts?

I disabled them because of the enormous amount of spam I was receiving. I might enable them again in the future.

How did you get into blogging?/Do you have advice for new bloggers?

I’ve had a blog in some form or another since 2000, so I got into it because I was a strange kid who liked HTML and talking about herself. My advice for new bloggers is to write about what interests you and let the rest take care of itself.
